A challenging week this week, and I do not mean filled with challenges, but filled with challenging challenges.  let's start with the cookie challenge. Tonight I had to make a very easy, plain, normal cookie from the Martha Stewart website, called Mocha Slice Cookies.

They are suppose to look like this:

I know it sounds like a very fancy name, but it is not. So the challenge was to use one cup of sugar, but no, Zettie was not concentrating so I put in 2 cups of sugar. And no, Zettie thought it would not make a difference. But Zettie was wrong!!! My cookies came out like bullet-ridden flying saucers, some massive, some smaller, some flat, some domed, but never mind - I am sure they all are VERY sweet.

I have also been challenged to show people what was in all those cookie tins from last week - here are some of the njammie cookies that I made to fill them up. (and hubbie emptied all the tins while I was gone last week)

Rice Crispie cookies

Another big challenge this week will be the sewing project - please see the pattern I will be attempting. The dress has 14 individual pieces, it is 3 sizes too small, and I did not have enough material for all the pattern pieces so had to improvise with two-tone effect. Hope to have it done by Sunday and model it for the blog. Watch this space, I think it is going to be hilarious - a real LOL moment.

OK, so let's get the photo challenges out of the way:
From the http://dailypost.wordpress.com/ comes a challenge to take a photo of somethings "INSIDE" I first took a photo of the inside of my mouth, but since I do not drink anymore I was not drunk enough to publish that on the blog, so now you get the inside of an orchid - weird hey?

http://www.photofriday.com/ wanted a photo themed "YOUNGSTER", and since I adore dogs, I want to publish this picture of our little Durga. Wish I could kiss her and inhale that sweet, musky puppy smell right now.

last photo challenge comes from http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/projects/challenges/weekly-challenges/ and has a very difficult theme of "HOT & COLD" So this is the perfect picture of a hot bod in a cold pool - trying to make the best of what nature can offer.

Tomorrow is my recycle/re purpose challenge, and I am very excited to share it with you. I am also very excited to go to bed and sleep, so good night

Lovies
Lizette
