Have a look at these big teeth and then look at this poor soul with no hair and you can imagine the damage done.Anyway, one midnight trip to a vet in Kempton (the only place we could find openon a friday night) - about 15 stiches later, less R1600 in our bank account, and 4 drains hanging out his body to drain fluid - I include a picture of my Elvis feeling vey sorry for himself (especially with the massive blue bandage )
The vet said he ate tonight (cooked him some chicken so they are very special vets) and he might come home tomorrow!!!!
I also included Elvis in one of my challenges this week, as he is my favorite dog (sshhhhh....don't let the other ones hear). The challenge came from http://jandccreationschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/. I had to do a scrapbook page themed "Animal Antics". I think it turned out great and I am sending him lots of warm kisses and loves and hugs and Reiki tonight so he can have a warm, confortable night.
Cookie time - and it was death by chocolate yesterday as I made Chocolate Thumprints (the fondant in the middle is said to be orgasmic) I can say this because all the comments on the scoresheet went something like this:
"Oh man, just the best"
"Mmmmmmmm.... yes!"
"This was the best I ever had"
And then some other comments I cannot publish and also a lot of heavy breathing. So if you are not getting enough sex - try these cookies!!!
And then I also made another double chocolate chunk cookie - they were BIG!!! and YUMMY!!.
I think they came out so nice as I was listening to this song while making them - over and over and over again. I love the song as I do not understand what they are singing. I just know it is called "Pasion", so everytime I listen to it and sing along, I make up my own verses.

For tonight I am going to end with a very exciting challenge I discovered on the web. It speaks to the narcisit as well as the artist within me. You take a pack of 52 playing cards, and every week you turn one of them into a personal inspiration card, following a certain theme for every week. At the end of the year you have a pack of cards in a special little bag you make that serves as inspiration or motivation for you. The challenge comes from http://embers.typepad.com/e/mini_art_journal_challenge/page/6/ and the first card had to reflect something I am proud of. My immediate reaction was to do a card featuring my son David (he, just like Elvis is my favorite - but luckily I only have one child so he will always be my favorite) But then after some thought I decided that these cards are about me and I did a card to reflect how proud I am of myself facing the world everyday with my skew little face and my fat little bum.
But talking about my son David - he is so beautiful (no, he does not have a skew face or a fat bum) and he is lead singer in a band called "Beloved" I include a picture of him in action - I adore him!! he is super talented - of course he got that from me.
Good night - need to now go and take the Rosemary Butter cookies out of the freezer, slice and bake them and then off to bed. (without my little Elvis dog.)
zzzz.....................
