So for this week I have some very nice challenges, and I would like to start with the one from Pretty Powerful. http://www.onlinelifemakeover.com/ it is an easy one to do, and maybe if you are feeling up to a fun challenge, join me in this one.
This Week's ChallengeI dare you to wear something red this week! How to do it:Red is a confident colour and some people avoid wearing it. Choose a day when you will and wear as much or as little red as you can handle. Anything from red lipstick to red heels, a red handbag or a bright red dress is perfect! Red is associated with energy, strength, power and determination, as well as passion, desire, and love. Became aware of these qualities in you, act confidently (even if you don't feel that way) and celebrate your strength!
Now I am a girl who loves a challenge, but even more than that, I am a girl who wants to be the best at the challenge, even if I am just competing with myself. So I promptly got every piece of red cloth I own together (except for one/two red towels that i left in the cupboard) So this is my red week and here is my picture of all my outfits for the week.

One of my favourite activies lately is scrapbooking (that is after baking) - I know, it is so old-woman stuff, but man, I like being an old woman and doing things I love.
So from Crafty Catz http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/came a challenge to do something using metal. And clever as i am, i combined it with another challenge from Ty Pennington, daring me to write an unexpected thank you note. So this is what I did and will be posting it to my DAD this week. The only metal I had available was silver foil I bought in America, and now that i think about it - I also have tin-foil that I bought in Delmas. Shit, I could have used that!!
And then of course there is the daily cookie from Martha Stewart. I am so behind on this challenge as I could not bake during all my travels, so cookies are streaming out of my kitchen at a rate faster than my husband, my staff, my dogs, my neighbours and all my colleagues at work can eat. But that will not deter me and cookies i will makes till we find the best cookie recipe ever. The mini Black-and-White cookies scored a 9/10, as they were a bit sweet with all that icing on the top. Not that I care, as I cannot eat them - so suffer all you cookie testers, suffer!
If you have lots of time to smear first white, then dark icing sugar on little cookies, please feel free to download the recipe and get baking.
The last challenge I would like to write about tonight is from Photo Friday (http://www.photofriday.com/), and it only said "dog". So "dog" is close to my heart and close to my camera lens, and this is what I did for the challenge. His name is Jock and he is my husband's dog. Being a Mexican hairless breed, he is not the most attractive specimen, but he is undeniably a "dog". (I do hope you can sleep tonight and that he does not cause any nightmares.)
I am off to bed now (with this ugly dog), and of course my lovely husband, and will talk to you again tomorrow - MWAH xxxx
